McKinley Families!
PK-5 Families, we hope you will join us for the annual Back to School Carnival!!
We loved meeting our students and families at McKinley today! It's going to be a great school year!
Our elementary teachers have been busy the last two in-service days with their own learning! What a great team of teachers and support staff ready to welcome students on Thursday!
Don't forget tomorrow night is our Back to School night at all 3 buildings! Bring your school supplies and meet your teacher!
We are excited to start Buckaroo Buddies this year at McKinley! Let us know if you are interested in volunteering or have questions!
Don't forget today is In-Person Enrollment at any of our Abilene Schools! If you need to enroll and need help with online forms, stop in one of the school offices from 1pm - 7pm today!

We have some classified job opportunities at McKinley for this school year! These positions allow you to have the same schedule as your school age children!
Mrs. Pekarek enjoyed some whipped cream pies in her face on the last day of school by Mrs. Wuthnow's 2nd grade class and Mrs. Koch's 3rd grade class!! They won the class challenge for good behavior choices the last 9 weeks of the year!
Congratulations to McKinley's Mrs. Kauer! She graduated today with her Master's in Arts and Teaching from ESU!
Our 2nd and 3rd graders had a great time at Field Day!
Thank you to the Abilene Rec Center for planning the Walk and Roll to school event today!! Our McKinley students loved it!
This week we celebrated our elementary teachers and staff during National Teacher Appreciation Week! We are blessed with dedicated teachers who make a difference every day!! Feel free to shout out to any of our amazing elementary teachers in the comments below!
McKinley 3rd graders enjoyed their field trip to the Milford Nature Center this week on Tuesday! It was a bit chilly, but a fun day of learning!
Walk and Roll to School tomorrow for all 3 elementary schools has been POSTPONED to next Wednesday, May 13th, due to weather! We hope you can participate in this fun event next Wednesday, May 13th!
