Last week, select members of our AMS band participated in an Honor Band at Washburn University. We appreciate these students' hard work and dedication to their craft, and we are grateful to Mr. Weishaar and Mrs. Hirsch for making these types of opportunities available for our students!

Congratulations to this week's AMS Students of the Week! It's funny to me how each group of selected students has a bit of a "theme" to the reasons they are chosen, and this week is no exception. This group is full of quiet leaders who follow expectations, help as needed without being asked, work hard to excel in everything they do, and simply represent AMS and their own families well. Congratulations to this week's AMS Students of the Week! The 8th graders in the group all took thorough notes during classes and used them well to show their physics skills on a recent science test - way to show perseverance! The 6th & 7th graders in this group are perfect examples of responsible students who communicate with their teachers about assignments, stay on top of their work, and are just positive people to have in classes. Excellent work, Longhorns! It's fun to honor such a large group!

Girls’ Basketball will play at home against Rock Creek. Games start at 4:30.

Girls’ basketball plays at home against Solomon. Games start at 4:30.
Boys' Wrestling competes at Manhattan. Matches start at 3:30.

📚 Monday, December 1: Fastbridge Testing Starts
Students will begin completing their winter Fastbridge screenings on December 1 and throughout the remainder of that week. These screeners help us monitor student growth and place students in appropriate Longhorn classes.
🏀 Tuesday, December 2: Girls' Basketball
Girls' basketball plays at Chapman. Games start at 4:30.
