Cancer Pathways encourages teens impacted by cancer to share their stories, reflections, and voices through the 2026 Teen Writing Contest.

📚 Open to 9-12th graders
📝 Essays must be 1,500 words or less
🚫 Not eligible: poems, fiction, or essays about a pet
🖊️ Essays must be original work, written in the author’s own voice
🏆 $1,000 cash prizes awarded to winners
🎉 Winners will be invited to a virtual celebration and asked to read their essays
📅 Deadline: February 27

The Kids’ Chance of Kansas Scholarship is available for students whose parent or guardian has been seriously or fatally injured in a work-related accident. This scholarship supports post-secondary education and training, including college, technical school, or other approved programs.

Eligible Kansas students planning to continue their education after high school.

📌 What does it offer?
Financial assistance to help with tuition, fees, and other educational expenses.

Attention Seniors! The Amanda West Insurance Agency is offering a $1,000 scholarship for Seniors planning to attend trade school, college, or technical school.

Applications are available in the counseling office. They need to be submitted May 4, 2026 before 5:00 p.m. at State Farm.
