Any FFA member who has not turned in their fruit and meat packet, please turn it into the office by the end of the day.
Make your vote for Joe  count twice.  Those persons who purchase or put a down payment on a yearbook prior to Cowboy Joe voting on Friday, November 15 will have their vote counted twice.  Buy a yearbook and support your Joe.
Bring canned food to Cowboy Joe activities throughout next week to support your Joe and help the Abilene area food pantry.  The Joe with the most donated items will receive 10 votes.
The schedule of Cowboy Joe activities coming up:
Tuesday, November 12:  
   ---Cowboy Joe from 6:00-9:00; games and time to work on skis.
Wednesday, November 13:  No activities
Thursday, November 14:  Cowboy Joe from 4:00-7:00; finalization of skits
Friday, November 15:  Cowboy Joe skit assembly and voting during seminar
   -- Powder Puff Football 4-5:30
   ---Cowboy Joe Dance and announcement from 7:0-9:00 in Gym B

Volleyball players - there will be a meeting today  in Ms. Bell's room  after school for all volleyball players (Freshmen-Seniors) to vote on awards for the season, and turn in uniforms if you haven't yet.  This shouldn't take long.
The deadline for the Rural Voices Youth Contest sponsored by the North Central Regional Planning Commission is quickly approaching.  December 2 is the last day for high school seniors in North Central Kansas to submit an entry.  To participate , seniors may write an essay (minimum 1,000 words) or create a video (3-5 minutes) reflective of this year's contest theme --  "Rural Kansas....Rural by Choice."  The top entry in each category will receive a cash award of $850.  For more information, visit the Counseling office or website.
